Sewing Giveaway!



Do you love historical costumes? Check out this great giveaway from members of the Pattern Patter Team on Etsy!

One of our Members donated two of her great corset patterns. The rest of us filled in with fabrics and notions, some fun Salesman Sample fabric swatches,  and a Folkwear "Calico Day Dress" patterns too! Check out the pictures below, enter to win through Rafflecopter, and visit our shops!



2 1/8 Yards Cotton - Lightweight Duck 2 Yards White Kona Cotton




Over 2 yards of Multi Green floral cotton duck and 2 yards of white cotton















Mantua Maker Corset Patterns

 The Regency Corset worn in the early 1800's and the 1870-1895  Corset from the late 1800's. 









Folkwear "Calico Day Dress" Pattern 208
Yoked dress is loose fitting as this is the dress worn before they were strapped into those corsets! 

 Nice details with wide flounce at hem.

 Fabric samples are in chipboard folders. Each card (3) has one main picture with color options on facing.

      I've made a corset just one time before. It was actually part of a prom dress ant turned out lovely.

    I used to be a professional corsetmaker! Sometimes I miss the fussiness of making them. I still have a ton of bones I need to use up!

    I often wonder how women survived at all with corsets, layers of petticoats, and no air conditioning esp here in the South. Love the salesman samples -

      Baby steps! If you can sew - you can master anything. Mantua Makers patterns have excellent instructions!
